My first visit. Blown away with my filet. Huge. I could have cut my steak with a butter knife. Perfectly crusted. Medium rare and so juicy. Falling apart within a couple bites. Asparagus was tender and lightly seasoned. Creamy mashed potatoes. Greek salad had fresh feta and extra dressing a must. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a special occasion place. The quality makes every penny worth it! Service was also impeccable.

Been to all the "best steakhouses" throughout my career. This place just does a great job. And nice to not be at the ghains (although they do great work, too). Very approachable qine list makes it affordable... Think 125-150PP.

The staff are friendly and very attentive. The food is well made and delicious. Great place for celebrations or just a tasty dinner. The desserts are also worth a try as many unique recipes for classic favorites.

Chose Lewnes' for my one steak-a-year. The atmosphere was old school elegant without being stuffy. The service was excellent without feeling solicitous. The food was perfect callback to basics, if a tiny bit undersalted. The Manhattan was among the best I've had. The single glass of wine was a bit gritty with sentiment. Truly close to a perfect old school meal.

The bread was simple, fluffy and a large portion, and it had an onion flavor. I had the Chilean Sean bass, it was delicate, tender and phenomenal also kept very simple. My husband has the sirloin Philadelphia style and he said it was the best steak he's had in years. We also had several sides, the sauteed spinach was spectacular. Sauteed to perfection and paired well with the sea bass. Then we had carrot cake and key lime pie. The pie was very tart making my husband a fan girl so to speak. Lol. And the carrot cake was spice forward making it stand out comparatively to other places we've been recently. A toast to Lewnes, they have us as patrons as long as they are around! Thank you so much!

Great meal at Lewnes' and a wonderful spot for a special occasion. They have multiple rooms. Highly recommend the crab meat add on to the steak. It was fantastic. Drinks were great too. Really enjoyed the blackberry cocktail. They don't have a kids menu but they can make chicken fingers and fries.

One of our all-time Annapolis faves and on the best steakhouses we've been to! We went for a special Valentine's Day dinner and as usual had amazing food, stellar service in a quiet and romantic atmosphere.

Never have I ever given a 5 out of 5 review but this place just gets it. Firstly, you cannot just walk in here on any given day as it is booked months out at a time, which should be an inkling to all that what they are serving up inside is absolutley unheard of!! Lets talk about food: I don't eat beef, its not an allergy thing it's just preference, however that preference went right out the tinted windows of that restaurant when they brought out my husband's medium prepared waygu...thank you Chef Nick for know your stuff. You are putting other chefs to shame and should be proud!! The actual meat itself melted faster than the fat in my mouth, which had been prepared with just the very basic seasoning but the taste was stellar. My spinach, unwilted, sauteed and prepared with a butter vessel underneath some beautiful juicy shrimp left a smile I hope never leaves my face! Every morsel of food on my plate was an experience well received...bravo! Service: Alex...let's just call him Mr. Magnificent was more than professional. He was very attentive and detailed...service is running in this man's veins as he pumps out options not even on the menu and facts about the restaurant itself. He even somehow knew my spinach should be served underneath my shrimp without me saying so and somehow managed to have the PERFECT amount of icecream on my brownie...its because he paid attention! Atmosphere: Who knows how to take a house and turn it into a fine dining establishment because they can see the benefit of it...Lewnes does! Seperate rooms so there is no overcrowding, dimmed lighting, tinted windows, simple layout, white tablecloths, cumbers, wine glass for my water...yes please! I'll be back for sure!!

This felt like stepping back in time to a classic steakhouse one where you half expect to glance into the corner and find Frank Sinatra crooning to the room. We were greeted warmly by the staff and grabbed a spot at the bar for a few cocktails, which were excellent. After a short wait, we were seated, and soon the food began to arrive. We started with the thick-cut smoked bacon served with a spicy mustard sauce smoky, rich, and perfectly fatty, with the mustard cutting through the richness in a masterful way. The tomato and onion salad (with added feta) was simple yet delicious: thick-cut tomatoes drizzled with olive oil, their natural sweetness contrasting beautifully with the sharp bite of red onion, while the feta added just the right touch of salt to elevate the dish into something truly memorable. For the main event, I had the bone-in cowboy ribeye cooked medium rare, while my partner ordered the Chilean sea bass. Both were cooked perfectly. The seasoning was simple, allowing the quality of the ingredients to shine, each bite was an absolute pleasure. The sautéed mushrooms were an instant standout, deep, savory, and so well-executed that we found ourselves going back for more after the very first bite. The mashed potatoes were equally impressive: buttery, delicate, and the perfect companion to the steak, tying the whole plate together beautifully. A fantastic experience from start to finish. Can't wait until our next date night to do this again.
